Network Designing

August 18th, 2013

Hi I need help from any network designer to pass my networking assigment.

I have to plan and design a simple network for a student residence facility.Facilities will be distributed into four buildings and in a central office where the servers and central networking devices are placed. Each building has a specified number of rooms which all have a wall socket for network cable. These facilities provide web and transfer services to the residents. The allocated network address will be 177.52.250.0/24.
Now what I need to do is write a technical report considering the three first layers (physical, data and network) which will cover the requirmental analysis, network topology,ip addressing and graphical network design.
Im not expecting you to do the entire thing, just provide me some basic (nothing to complicated) ideas or case studies or some books (chapters) that would hellp me.
thanks in advance.
Answer #1
there are two things that are wrong here.
your asking for books= this stuff has been taught to you in school and its in your books . it will not be in one chapter but rather multiple chapters.
second= i tell you the answer and there will be another unskilled worker in the workforce.
either learn this material or take the class again.

okay first of all chapter(s) thanks for correcting my mistake
Second Im asking for case studies which the books IM studing dont have
Third I study computer science and Im not interested in networking but I have to pass this test (you gotta things that you dont like thats life)
Fourth I didnt ask for the entire solution, I just asked to help me either by pointing otut which topology is best for the case, or which devices are appropriate,or by directing me to some case studies or to some good books.
Finally this is a helpdesk section if you want to help help if not stop using my topic for your trolling purposes and gtfo
