HELP with SIMS 2 open for business – my sim froze!

For some reason my sim just froze, and I don’t know what to do. What is so weird is that everything else is working in the game. The sounds, the sims passing my sims house, and the list over energy and hunger etc is active too. It’s just my sim and my sims girlfriend in the tub that have frozen! Does anyone know how I can go back to the last saved game? I saved apperently at the same time it froze, so I hope I may be able to go back to the saved game before last time I saved, if you understand me? And the time has NOT frozen, so when his bladder is all red and so is his energy and hunger, he still don’t die, and nothing happens. I tried everything that I can come up with, but don’t want to mess with the saved games in the ea folder. I appreciate all help! Thanks!
