problem with booting of laptop

August 13th, 2018

i have hp pavillion dv6000 series laptop with 320 gb hard disk and t5750 processor
and 3 gb ram size
but now when i try to turn on my computer i get two beep sounds and it says
“press f1 to resume and f10 to enter setup”
if i resume it takes me to windows selection screen and in case of VISTA
it gives two options “launch repair”
“start windows normally”
in repair computer just hangs after loading files
and in start windows normally it gives a blue screen and shut down immedialtely
IN WINDOWS 7
it hangs as soon as i hit enter and just few seconds later with theme of 7 in background
can anyone suggest what the problem is hard disk test says its fine
memory test is also fine
please guys tell me the possible solution of this

Answer #1
sounds really messed up!
I’d suggest you first backup your data to an external hard drive (or some other storage). You can do this using a Live Disc of any operating system.
Next, format and do a clean install of Windows 7. Why would you want Vista and 7 anyways?
Answer #2
my vista was original came with the laptop and 7 is just so thats why i didn’t uninstalled it
Answer #3
well, i’m guessing HP provided you with a couple of recovery discs when you got your laptop. Now’s the time to use them!
Answer #4
well i never ordered those discs so now i m going on with ur live cd idea with knoppix lets see what happens i will tell you soon
now this is really interesting guyz when i used live cd the computer again hangs in between just like vista and 7 the problem is really pathetic
what you think now guyz
any hardware problem or what
plz reply

Answer #5
common guyz help me out
this problem is huge
Answer #6
will either boot to safe mode ? to recover data it needed
search apps section for “vista recovery disk”, about 150mb
burn and boot from that and see if it will repair vista boot
hard disk test says its fine
also get the diagnostic app from your hard disk’s web site and check you disk with that
Answer #7
ok i will see to the recovery disk but the safe mode didn’t worked it showd the blue screen
more update about this error:
“when i tried to install the windows again both vista and then 7 also
computer again hangs after copying files it just hangs and i am now not even able to reinstall windows”
the problem is just getting worst
do you guys think its a hardware problem or what??????????????/
Answer #8
also get the diagnostic app from your hard disk's web site and check you disk with that
this would be the best way to check/repair the drive
Answer #9
any other suggestions guyz
Answer #10
yes, format your MBR
Seems to me that your boor sequence has been ****** up.
Place a windows 2000 / XP /ME boot disk in your pc
enter in the command prompt c:\format /MBR
This will NOT erase data but trow your bootsequence in the bin, you can later restore this.
Best of luck
Answer #11

Answer #12
