Zoom Player Audio Help!

I have downloaded Zoom Player and all of the codecs needed, but when I play the movie I have to turn the volume to the max to be able to hear the people talking. Also, the background music plays very loudly. Please help me and tell me what I need to do to get this to work right!!!

I guess you have to play with filter settings. It depends which kind of media you’re playing, and which filter you are using (ac3, mkv etc). Right click -> filter properties. And look what kind of filter is being used.
In case of AC3 filter: increase master gain, and play with other “gain settings” (mixer tab)
If you’re using ffdshow audio: go to volume -> increase things like master volume and centre speaker.
You could also decrease surround volume to get things at the same level as the voice volume.

in your ac3 filter select a speaker setting with dolby, not one of the 2.1 – 7.1 settings
