wireless lan problem

Hey everyone,
i am having a problem with my wireless lan settings on both my mobile as well as laptop. Whenever i open the browser i can only open a few sites like
google, sportinglife All other sites do not open like msn or facebook or these forums on my laptop whereas all these sites open on my main pc thru which the router is connected. Can anyone help me out with the problem please!! I’d really appreciated it

andd sorry i forgot to mention it opens all google related websites like gmail and stuff..it searches but i cant open the results that are shown dont know y???:s:S

Sounds like filtering on the router or ISP level,Are you living
with your parents?

lol yes but they don t use the computer other than my dad using the stock exchange

Hmm thats weird.
Try this: windows button + r > type cmd > in the cmd window type: ping -t facebook.com
And see if it receives a timeout or that it can actually ping the website, if it can ping the website also check the ms, if the ms is above 100 then I think it’s a “server” problem. But also if you can ping the website, you will see a certain IP being pinged, go to your browser and type http://and then the IP, that one also works sometimes.
