windows server 2003 and windows xp. trying to access drive?

i have set up a drive to be shared in windows server 2003 and have given access to all users and given the drive a letter e.g. G
But when i try and find the server drive on my windows xp machine nothings comes up. i have tried looking in all network places and active directory search but nothing comes up?
do i need to enter details? anywhere am missing something…

It’s probably a workgroup issue, All PCs have to be set to the same one in order to see each other!

That’s probably it. You can also type in the PC’s address directly depending on the local IP of the machine. Example: \\192.168.1.10
