windows 8 enterprise upgrade to enterprise 8.1 need help
January 25th, 2020
When win 8 was just released for the public (so not the developers or consumers preview) i grabbed a copy of the win 8 dvd from here.
If i recall correctly it was from Tooth or leader.
I have managed to permanently activate the enterprise edition of windows 8 with some kind of loader (cant remember wether it was kms, or some other loader, the only thing im certain about is that its permanently licensed) and therefore i could install all updates without any form of trouble.
However now that 8.1 is out, and since i dont want to install a new version i have decided that i just want to upgrade to 8.1
But i have read on the internet that with enterprise this is not possible.
The normal way was to update via the store, but since this is enterprise it isnt shown there, and it also isnt shown at windows update
So the “legal” way to upgrade this version is to register at: https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx
And then i have to download the 8.1 update, burn it to dvd or usb disc and then install it.
However my email adress isnt linked to the enterprise 8.1 update, so i cant login, download, burn and install.
Is it therefore possible to download just the update from here @ , and then burn it to dvd and then run the setup to get al set up, or maybe even the install method which dont require a dvd (run the setup application from the other folder in windows 8 dvd iso)
Or is there any way to upgrade my version to 8.1?
And then the last question.. Is it really worth it to upgrade to 8.1?
Thnx in advance.
Cheers, Mara

– Best way is to download 8.1 KMS activated you wont have any problem with activation
And then the last question.. Is it really worth it to upgrade to 8.1? – WORTH IT
