* Coolermaster V8 Heatsink
2. EVGA E-757 SLI LE Motherboard
3. 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 MHZ ( 8-8-8-24)
* ( Working @ 1470 MHZ 8-8-8-24 )
4. Sapphire Toxic Edition Radeon HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 * http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102840&cm_re=Sapphire_HD4890-_-14-102-840-_-Product
5. Western Digital 1TB Black ( For Windows )
* ( Had 2 OCZ Vertex SSD in Raid 0 – Crashed )

My PC Stays On 24/7 ( Turn Off Once In A While To Clean Dust Filters Etc….)
I Overclocked the CPU Myself : – Simply Increased the value to make it 3.7Ghz and set ram settings to 8-8-8-24 Manually
The RAM became 1470 MHZ on these settings
I Tried to use XMP1 to get RAM @ 1600 MHZ but the CPU was reduced to 2.7 GHZ
Softwares ( Frequently Used ) : 1. Windows 7 x64 2. Kaspersky Internet Security 2010
3. Firefox
4. K-Lite Codec Pack Full ( Latest )
5. Media Player Classic
——————————————————————————————-
Problems : 1. When I Logon to my account – It takes around 3-5 Minutes to settle down
2. I Get Blue Screen when i try to convert a file to .mkv
3. Video Lags When i Play a 720p Video ( .avi , .wmv ) in Full Screen
Call Of Duty – Modern Warfare 2 , Crysis 2 & all new Games Working 100% Fine

1. Is it Possible that I Am Having These Problems Due to Unstable Overclocking ??
2. Will a Windows 7 x86 Use Less Resources & Be More Performing ???
If You Know Any Options To Increase My Pc Performance – Please Let me Know. Thanks
You’re likely blue screening due to overheating or not enough power (voltage) going to the CPU–both of which could be results of incorrect overclocking.
Additionally, boot time has little to do with CPU/memory as it does with your hard drives. Consider a couple drives in RAID0 or a SSD.
I have settings for you to o.c stable at 4.2 4.3 and 4.4.
part 4.4 Good luck o.c let me know how it goes.
WoW – Can you give me detailed instructions how to O’c my CPu @ 3.6 – 3.7 GHZ ( as i have turbo & hyperthreading on ) If possible also the ram @ 1600 MHZ 8-8-8-24
P.s : Your Pics are quite huge – very difficult to view
By the way – Do you have Turbo Mode & Hyperthreading on @ 4.4 GHZ ??
Dude 3,072  2,304 x 3 pictures? Honestly?
i also have turbo and hyper on and I am o.c at 4.4 no problems. Just have great cooling. Sorry dont have setting for any lower. I would try 4.2 and see what happens. If you want just start tweaking vcore lower and dram volt lower.

Ok will try- What are your cpu temps ???
Mine @ 30-40 degrees most of the time

Simple. Overclock is not stable. Up the voltages and do some stress tests. Voltage and overclockability depends on the chip you have. For example I can get to 4.2 with 1.2v
Post some CPU-Z screenshots
About 40-43 idle 55-65 load (converting video in xtodvd) dont really game. I also have an asus board not evga. Sorry for the pics wanted you to be able see. Any suggestion next time to keep them small but good enough to view? How do I do this?
A bit off topic but @ if you plan on keeping that chip at 1.43v 24/7 you’ll see some degradation. The max safe 24/7 voltage is 1.375v
Agreed however doesnt all o.c. I have an asus board so my specs are a little different I am around 1.37. If you look at all the pics only the 4.4 is at 1.43 4.3 is at 1.375.
some more specs of mine that may or may not help. Dram freq-1197

Yeah but your sig says 4.4GHz. Well anyway I’m curious. Is this where you got your chip?

No not me but I did buy my chip from there. I am 4.4 Ghz but I have asus board and I uploaded pics for evga board. My setings are a bit different. I also have mt dram set lower. P.s great support from jerry out of ohio where I got the chip. Have it about 9 months now and runs great. I would buy another.
Also he used to no reserve and I got mine for 317 dollars I think.
Hey Guys – I have 2 Ocz Vertex 60gb Sata 2′ 5 That stopped working ( Used to crash randomly then finally counl’t even detect the drives )
The were both in raid 0 for some while till the 1st one went bad then a few months later , the other one died
I bought those a little more than 1 year ago – Will i be able to RMA the drives ???
Ocz ssd have a 3 year warranty. I would contact them and see about fix/repair
