window vista error

I need help so bad! My laptop got infected with viruses and spywares and i dont know what to do first. I cant install antivirus program and i cant reformat for some reason. Please help me.
What do i have to do?

you are doing something wrong…
how are u reformatting?
if you have the xp install disk, pop it in and boot from disk and reinstall
