just wondering, will this be able to play avi files (cuz it supports DivX)

Answer #1
it depends.. AVI is only a file container, like MKV and OGM all of them are containers, who contain files that will be played ( audio video and subtitle files).
but most likely yes…
i have had many avi files being supported by divx, but only a few which were not.
don’t know how much it costs but i got a 20 EURO dvd player and it plays everything, so dont think that expensive stuff is always better!
Answer #2
Lol, No dvd player can play AVI files, You need too convert them first with somethink like convertxtodvd
Dont moan if i am wrong!
Answer #3
Yeah, it can play AVI files as long as they’re not in XviD format. You can burn the files on a CD without converting them but don’t forget that some files won’t play. Good luck mate ^_^
Answer #4
Some DVD players can play DivX files, aka .avi.
But i suggest using convertxtodvd, works the best
Answer #5
k thanks for explaining
they only reason i don’t like converting avi file to other dvd format, cuz first of all takes alot of time + alot of space
