How to play blu-ray video files?

I just downloaded a blu-ray movie from here but I cant open it. The only player that will open it is a VLC player, but I dont want to use VLC. Is there any other player that will open and play a MKV file and blu-ray? Any info will be appreciated.

Just about any media player with the correct Directshow codecs.
Such as the media players listed above by .
Codecs/splitters I suggest>
CoreAVC – H264 decoding
Matroska Splitter – needed to extract the audio/video and subtitles.
Alternatives>
ffdshow
nVidia’s latest Forceware driver is supposed to add Purevideo support which means that H264 and other Hi Def codecs can be accelerated by compatible nVidia graphics cards. This means it requires less CPU to decode them. A media player that can use Purevideo is required.
