Wii not detecting USB Mic

I have a softmodded wii and i am trying to play def jam Rapstar but my Wii is not recognizing my USB mic. How do i get the usb port to work?
What do i need to install? i have the game on a usb and that is what i load it on but the other usb port doesn’t work and it wont let the mic work?

There are some newer games that seem to have problems recognizing microphones other than a Guitar Hero mic, so if you don't have a Guitar Hero mic then get one, there are some used ones for sale at GameStop, under $10.

this happened alot with playing games from diff countries…even though it will play all region games…i had rockband 2 about a year ago and none of the instruments would hook up to it

yea i googled it and there were no one who solved the problem..i am using the guitar hero mic i guess i will just wait and see if there is a fix..
