PC detecting HDMI but not VGA?

Any ideas? I have a ATI Radon 4800 1GB Card with a AMD Athlon II X4 620 Processor.
I have my PC on a 32″ TV Right now, but when I turn the PC on it detects the monitor, but then instantly goes to stand by?
If I unplug the VGA Cable, it says “Cable not connected”
Bit weird…..

Never mind, clicked “Detect” on monitor display and it’s come on. BrillianT! haha
