Whole computer proxy as opposed to a browser proxy

I am after something that will hide or change my proxy to the world wide web. I want it to hide everything i run off my computer not just through my web browser. I was hoping someone could link me to a decent app that does this not something were i am going to spend hours trying to filter through a list to find a working proxy or something.
