What’S the difference?

I downloaded a few films from this site and put the files on a usb stick to play on my tv (samsung) cannot understand why the first one plays but the second one wont(says file not supported).Can anyone explain why??
first film-
Jane.Eyre.2011.DVDrip.XViD-nCODE.avi
second film-Paul.2011.DVDRip.XviD.avi
They are both dvd rip xvid avi

what model is the Samsung…
It may be something to do with the container…
See if they both play on WMP 11 or 12 on your pc.
Also here is a handy tool that tells you all the information about a video file.. Right click and open with this program.. see if there are any major differences.

It probably has to do with the type of audio each release uses.

Is there anyway to find out before i download the film?

Open the files with mediainfo and post the specs here. Then we may be able to work out the difference between the two files.

find better uploaders that actually give you those sorts of details instead of just a download link and a picture of the cover.

Here are the differences i have found

the one on the left has the files details. the one on the right doesn’t but before i sent it to the usb stick the files did show???

What i have worked out is that the files are ok when i download them.The problem seems to be when i transfer them to the usb stick.Some of the files transfer and some don’t ???
