When talking about moves what does R5 mean?

It stands for Region 5, which is:
African countries not explicitly included in other regions, countries included in the former Soviet Union, the Indian subcontinent, Mongolia, North Korea, and Seychelles
It’s a DVD-quality release from this region, most of the time Eastern Europe (former Soviet Union)

If you take a look at wikipedia you will c that all releases r explained there, e.g.: TS,TC,CAM,R5 etc.
So i’m not gonna explain it here but i’m gonna let you take a look for yourself

What a complicated answers. Just say it is like DVD Rip with lower sound quality. DVD Screener by the way is also like DVD Rip with a bit lower picture quality but it is hard to notice that difference. TS is Telesync or similar like Cam version which is like the word says a movie recorded with handy camera during the movie preview in cinema. That is the worst quality besides a mobile format.

Thanks guys, I know the other movie descriptions and figured r5 was a kind of dvd rip.. just didnt know it was region 5 which made sense
