but i would like to use something else that i can use to play the video’s with OTHER than Windows Media Player 11.

It can play absolutely everything including RMVB and FLV.
I use it and like it a lot.
VLC palys vids pretty good without the need of installing codecs since its got its own built in. Though not good for RM, RMVB formats

That’s why I like MPCSTAR. It plays everything that VLC can but more. It’s a bit weird to use at first but you get used to it very quickly.
btw i do have the codecs, so THEY are not a problem.
its just about a decent player ^^

Both of them are decent so try both, from that determine which best suites you.
If you don’t need the player itself to be able to play all file types, go with VLC; it’s prettier.

I use either VLC or Media Player Classic.
The 1st one doesn’t require any codecs and the 2nd one is lighter but rely on codecs.

Download the K-lite Codec and It’ll ask you to use Media Player Classic as the default player. By far the best choice as it’s a very light player but with k-lite codec you can play it all.

I’ve been using KMP ever since it’s old versions without any problems. It’s by far the best player in my opinion when it comes to customization. Followed closely by Zoom Player Pro

yeah i download that but the player doesnt appeal to me very much.
