VMware Workstation Mint Linux Wine Emulator Problem

I install Serious Sam: The First Encounter on Mint Linux via Wine Emulator in VMware Workstation and game won’t start. Only Serious Sam Logo appear.
Did Linux can play Windows Games in VMware Workstation? In all Windows OS in VMware Workstation, i can play games without problems.
EDIT:
I install Ubuntu in VMware Workstation and game works.

If its working in Ubuntu but not Mint, I would check the graphics drivers on your Mint, that’s probably the issue.
