Install Linux in VMware Workstation on Laptop with Win XP

July 31st, 2016

I can’t install any Linux version in VMware Workstation on Laptop (Pentium M 1500 MHz, 512 MB Ram) with Windows XP.
Answer #1
I’d start by saying that 512MB of RAM isn’t a whole lot of memory if you’re looking to run a VM but what’s the error that you receive when you try?
Answer #2
It works great, Wi-Fi too. I install ubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386 on father’s PC with Windows XP and same VMware Workstation version and i open Virtual Machine on Laptop.
Now i have Windows XP + Ubuntu in VMware Workstation.
EDIT:
I install ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386 in VMware Workstation, because Synaptic Package Manager not working in 7.04.
