Virus on pendrive? Help

hello,
i gave my usb to a friend and the usb contains some folders and files. now, when i open the usb on my pc, the folders are not appearing. the files are still here. however, if i type the name of the folder in the address bar of explorer on my win 7, i get to the contents of that folder and the files appear.
but when i go back to the main addresss (like G:\) the folder still does not appear. i scanned with bitdefender which found viruses and removed then but it`s still the same.
when i use cmd to list the contents, only the files appear and not the folders. i tried to display hidden files but it`s still not appearing.
can anyone help. do you know which virus this is. and how to make things correct again.

open cmd and type the following
let’s say your drive has letter I
type” I:” then press enter
then type ” attrib -s -h /s /d *.* ” then hit enter
you should be able to see the files then

Open pendrive..go to organize->folder and search option->view->tick show hidden files and the three that follows..hide hide hide..done!

attrib -s -h /s /d *.* use this command or use Linux pc

Bitdefender must have a viruses removed history. Note down the virus names and search on google..

It depends, if you unhide the files after they will show on all other pc’s otherwise you will have to have the “show hidden files” option checked on all pc’s you use the drive with…
