using many anti-spyware programs

January 26th, 2020

is it okay to install and use like 2-3 anti-spyware programs? will it cause problems in your computer? or maybe some programs might not work..
Answer #1
Is it okay?
Yes.
But why would you do this?
Just get yourself a solid internet security suite (Kaspersky or NOD32) and a good antispyware program.
Answer #2
no it wont just make sure u configure each to not interfere with ur network. i suggest adaware+malware bytes for spyware and avira for AV, should be set
Answer #3
It’s okay to do, but you really only need one good anti-spyware program. Such as, NOD32.
Answer #4
Yes. But tbh, Malwarebytes alone is sufficient enough.
Answer #5
I use several but never have them all running, only have AV and Firewall running at all times. I like freeware so i use Avira + Comodo Firewall + Malwarebytes + SuperantiSpyware. Then i have others installed which i rarely use, Spybot S&D, Spyware Terminator, Combofix, Windows Defender, McAfee Stinger.
Answer #6
Hell yes!!
Never rely on just one tool!
You should pick one main one to have running as stop-guard (nod32, kaspersky,. norton, your choice), and have about 3 others you run manually at the end of each day before you shut down (or on startup)
Virus scanners all work similar, but different, some have better malware detections, others have better hard virus detections, some give many false positives (ClamAV), etc – run one main and three backup, just for safety.
I also use Jotti’s and VirusTotal online to test files if I suspect the AV I have is not picking something up (1 out of 3 report bad = I go check online. 2 out of 3 = deleted file)
What you need to ask yourself is “is my bank balance or my identity less important than that crack for Vuescan, or that keygen for DvDCloner” – if the answer is yes, well…
Answer #7
Its okay, just dont run them side by side.
Set one of them to on demand scan
