does it show the cd/dvd drive in the bios setting if so set it to start from there with the disc in the drive and its plain sailing after that
As I understand it the linux formatted hard disk isn’t the same as NTFS (but I could be wrong) so format the HD first to NTFS (you can do this with the OS install CD/DVD if it recognizes the HD)
And as says, make sure the CD/DVD drive or USB drive is set in the BIOS as first to boot. then keep your eyes on the screen because you might have to press a key as the computer boots up through the DOS screen.
