seems like I miss understand alot of people today, I suggest changing the visual style and see if it’s better or not or change the output type.
Okay its because your PC is recognizing the TV as a second monitor. Try dragging Firefox or something over to the TV . i know this because my notebook does the same thing.
It sees it as a secondary monitor, go to your Control Pa\Personalization and click on Display Settings, then hit the Identify monitors, you should see a 2 on the new screen. You will be able to drag windows over to that screen from your computer screen. If you want them mirrored click advanced, it will vary depending on your video card but look for something called “Display Mirroring.

I assumed it was the only monitor.
Good call.
All right. Now I have a new problem. The screen does not fit completely on the TV, no matter what resolution or stretching etc.
That’s a real “” dude.
Thank you but this does not seem to solve the problem, dude.
Moved to Helpdesk
What is your videocard? NVIDIA? ATI? Try the “CLONE” option in your videocard settings.

Make sure the TV is set to correct aspect ratio 16:9 … not pan/scan or anything like that ?.maybe even zoom out a bit..
All right, it works. Thanks again.
