To burn a TV show to disc..

Does it need to be like a .avi, or can it be .mp4, .mpg, etc?
I don’t want to do any converting

you will have to convert it unless you have the original video, which will be 4gb’ish. but it can be any format

If you want to convert any file format to DVD, use VSO Convert X to DVD, really good software.

As long as your DVD player support avi, you can burn it as data disc without convert and watch it on TV.
