what software or apps do i need to tether my iphone to my pc?

If you’re willing to jailbreak your iPhone, Cydia has an app for $19.99 that lets you tether. There may also be some free tethering apps in that network, but I don’t know of them. If you decide to go the jailbreaking route let me know if you need any help.
