Hm hard to tell, 70% confident that it will fail.

You don’t need to bother inserting a key or anything, just install.
Good luck!
Answer #8
Nope, it won’t work, home premium key works on home premium versions only.
Answer #9
a vista home premium key will work with vista home premium only (no matter which servive pack is slipstreamed on the installation) So you can grab a clean copy of HP SP2 and install it using ur legit key
Answer #10
You definitely cannot…..You cannot use a home premium key to install the ultimate…
Answer #11
first, If you want Ultimate, and you have a Vista home premium DVD, then you can install Ultimate using that dvd, All you need to do is leave the serial key field blank and press enter while installing, and accept any pop-up that appears. You will then be presented with all the available operating systems on the dvd which you can install, you can then install Ultimate, but you cannot use your serial key to activate it. – You will have to crack it, and i would suggest doing this only if your DVD includes at least service pack 1.
The only difference between home premium and Ultimate is that, Ultimate has just three extra features which you probably will not use anyway.
I know i dont. These are the features: “Advanced business backup features”, “Business networking and remote desktop”, “Windows BitLocker – Drive encryption”.
Am i right when i make this assumption? You probably want to install Ultimate because every one on the internet always says that Vista Ultimate is the best. ??? While the only difference is really small.
