You overwrite the exe of the game usually located in it’s binary folder.
what does that look like? im sorry, i really havent a clue, i know its prob stupid of me
theres lots of folders…
Please do not double post, Use the edit button instead-
Replace the cracked file and overwrite the original file…For example…If the crack is called .exe..Copy the crack…Go to to where you installed the game and look for a file called the same…exe…Paste..And if you get asked to overwrite..Click yes…If you don’t get asked…You copied it to the wrong path…

i cant find them in what i downloaded… what kind of a file wouuld it be?
should the crack be .exe? cause they arent…
That is the Image…You need to mount the image to see what’s inside…

MagicDisc, Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% will mount it.
Use DAEMON Tools Lite (freeware):

Install..Make sure you deselect all the toolbars and what ever while installing..
Left click on DAEMON Tools Lite Icon on the taskbar and go on Dvice 0…Browse to where byou have the image files stored…
Mycomputer..It will be there as an extra DVD Rom drive..

You download a program that makes virtual drives, something like for example: Alcohol or Daemon Tools (i use daemon for everything), you use the program to “mount” and image (that being a .iso file),
the program will see it as if it were the game- cd in the driver, but it isn’t there (hence the name; virtual drive or ghost drive),
So most of the time an autorun, just like a legal bought game will pop up,
taking you through the install progress.
I suppose you know how the rest goes.

Lion and his Daemon tools… Option B would be to burn the ISO like normal, then inserting the disk and installing like a regular game.
After the install, you move the crack into the installed directory, usually inside C:/Program Files/.
I hate .mdf or .bin, I usually just extract .iso’s in a folder so I don’t have to bother with daemon tools or such
what’s honestly the point of mdf or bin :/
mdf, mds are used because they can pass the game protection in some instances…
Bin, Cue been used in the past because CDRwin used to be one of the most popular burning software…I think it’s been discontinued but some people still use that format…
Extracting the ISO and installing doesn’t work all the time…As some installers check for the DVD label…
ok but does this daemon tool thing need cracking too? cuz i thought IT was the thing that would help crack the game? im so confused…is there a step by step process for this anywhere i really font know what im doing :S
once i have downloaded this daemon thngy, mounted the crack and replaced it, then what happens?

ohhhhhh man…………………i feel for you . it is a little hard working it all out but what is actually harder is trying to explain it to someone that doesnt know whats going on!!!
For me it was doing a bit of “googling” and a lot of trial and error!!! I still get stuck occoasionally with iso’s but with some time and thought you tend to work it out!!

I’ll try to make this as simple as possible . The two files you listed earlier are NOT the crack. They are simply images of a DVD. Images of a DVD usually have the extensions .mdf, .iso, and etc. Those images of the DVD can be burned to a disk and you can insert it into your DVD drive like any other normal DVD. There is an alternative called a “Virtual Drive”. Basically what a Virtual Drive is a DVD drive that does not physically exist. Daemon tools uses those two files that you listed and manipulates them as if they were already burned to a disk and inserted to a DVD drive. This is called mounting to a virtual drive. Anymore questions feel free to ask. And google is your friend.

ok girl, you CAN do this!!! run daemon tools, you should then see it (the red lightning thingy) in the bar in the bottom, left from the clock. click on it . now it tells you “device 0: empty”. click there and just browse to where you saved the image file. select the first one. press open and you’re done. setup should start. when you’re prompted for the 2nd disc just repeat and select the other file. once it’s all installed do not let the program run but instead browse to the crack (on one of the cds) and copy it just like the others told you here before.
