Sound Driver Help Please.

Just installed a new version of windows onto my PC. But now i need to reinstall drivers for sound to work.
I would appreciate if anyone can help me on this.
System Model – Compaq Presario 061 EC520AA-ABU SR1519UK GB530
Main Circuit Board – MSI-AMETHYST-M 1.0

If you have access to the internet on that same computer download and run :
Driver Genius Professional 2008 v8.0.316

And it’ll help you find any driver you’re computer’s missing.

Downloaded and installed Realtek AC’97 but still no sound.
By the way, the PC with no sound isn’t on the internet so i can’t use any software to update them.
Any more ideas???

Dear , you should try to install the sound driver from the motherboard disk.

Get this app ‘Driver Magician’
Driver Genius is old and doesnt update quite well.
