Something horrible happened in Jukata, Bahrain and Numeira?

But I need to find out what. It’s extremely horrible, and it’s not recent. My dad says it’s something akin to the destruction of the dinosaurs. It may be in Sodom and Gomorrah. Sorry, I can’t provide much more info at this point. Don’t know if Jukata is spelled right, may be Jakata.
