[SOLVED]I have to install windows but need drivers…

my brother’s PC is running windows Xp, safe to say it’s about time I put windows 7 on it. I already have a windows 7 disc and home premium product key.
yes I know how to install windows but are there any “freeware” driver software that installs drivers?

I’m sure Windows 7 will install all the drivers..If any missing..Windows update will take care of them..
Or just head to the motherboard manufacturer and download all the drivers..
yeah, it installed all the drivers I need. Ethernet, graphics and sound. strange, when I use the same disc to install on my laptop or desktop, I have to install all the drivers separately.
That’s because install discs are are “generic” and contain most drivers needed for desktop hardware. Laptop’s is a different matter, those are OEM and in almost all cases require specific device/manufacturer drives which are embedded in the OS when the windows RTM build gets shipped to them
