I prefer to use Tinypic to upload them.~ Disallowed image host ~
To place them in a post I use the IMG tags to do so. like so [img]www.yourimagelink.com[/img]
Here is an example;
The code for that is [IMG]http://~ Disallowed image host ~/7yefsq9.jpg[/IMG]
The IMG tags are located where you format your post.

Upload your pic to TinyPic, AhPic or another free image host and get the direct link to the file. This direct link should look something like this:http://~ Disallowed image host ~/6kzs492.jpghttp://i.ahpic.com/07lfg.jpg
Then, take that image link and put “[img]” before the link and “[/img]” after it. For example, to post one of the pictures above, you would type this into the reply box:[img]http://i.ahpic.com/07lfg.jpg[/img]
And viola
