SKIDROW Black Ops. Error ‘Steam must be running to play’

Hi. I get a Fatal Error message that says ‘Steam must be running to play this game’. How do I fix this? :O

Clearly you didn’t patch the game properly, maybe the Steam API.

I downloaded the game from Toothless.
The patch files has 2 folders: SKIDROW crack files and Black Ops Game patch.
I also get steam_api.dll is missing.

paste the crack over the origional. exe sounds like you have not put the crack files in the correct folder.
after this launch the game via the cracked executable.

THANKS I got this figured out myself though haha. Game works perfectly fine! Yaay.
