Sims 3 Question

Should I download the Sims 3 Collector’s Edition or The Sims 3 Final Edition??
Will they both be able to work with the custom items, cheats and the still to come expansion packs and stuff packs?

Cos right now, most of the cheats dont work on my current sims 3 edition.
By most cheats what do you mean? ctrl+shift+c and then type help
Shows all the cheats you can use. i’ve looked up many videos and pages trying to confirm if the other cheats such as “make happy” work but nothing comes up.
its not so much about that, but like the shazaam cheat and all the really cool ones dont work, and also someone told me that the expansion packs/stuff packs would not work on my edition of sims 3.

First of all, the collectors edition IS the final edition. Second, all the cheats work on the final edition.
Third, all the extra contents are working on the final edition.
