share folder on my desktop HELP

how can i share a folder on my desktop with my friend its around 500 mb and i need to send her those pictures emergency !

If you use msn you can create a sharing folder and put the pictures in there.

you could always upload the files to a file host (rapidshare).

Best bet is either burn a CD and mail it or upload to rapidshare. Sharing over msn or anything else will be slow.

You can’t just paste it…Uploading it to ftp will be even slower..

The same time it takes you to upload it to some file sharing site (like Megaupload), will be the same time it takes her to download it from your computer through FTP.

Not necessarily true…Ftps are a hog…They can be configured to give a limited upload speed…Something like 2 k/s…Which will take a 100 years to upload 500 MB…
File hosts will almost give you your full upload speed…Especially popular ones like rs and MU…

rs and mu are twice as fast as FTPS
not to mention that sometimes at FTPS you have to start all over
to OP: there is no other way. bytes must be transfered. either burn it, or upload it to rs
