Serious Network Problem

May 11th, 2022

Hello, Almost every time i watch a video online lets say from kissanime.com or any site for that matter(apart from youtube), even after i close the browser my PC keeps receiving data(using 100% of my bandwidth) and won’t stop unless i Disconnect from the Internet or remove my Ethernet cable. As of anti-virus i am using Bitdefender Total Security on Windows 7 both Fully Updated. Please Help, Thanks in advance

Does this happen from any specific browser? If you’re using something like Firefox or Chrome, try disabling all your plugins and see if that makes a difference. I’d also suggest you reinstall Flash on your PC
When the problem does happen, do you see your browser process still lurking around in the task manager? If so, you could try killing it from there rather than resetting your internet connection
Answer #2
also scan your PC with Malwarebytes as it seems some nasty piece of software maybe using it
Answer #3
yeah try looking for and killing the process like said…i think it has to be there if it’s using your bandwidth +1
Answer #4
Boot on diagnostic startup. Disabling unnecessary components which maybe some apps doin update.
Answer #5
Open up resource Monitor.
type resmon into start and press enter. Go to the Network Tab. Then go to Network Activity. Then Click Total(B/sec) To see which Process is using all the Network.

Thank you for all your answers, as a matter of fact it always happens when i use Chrome and i had noticed that in resource monitor Chrome stays open but it is not listed in the Running Processes. I am gonna try re-installing Chrome and Flash Player and i ll keep you posted if anything changes
Answer #7
Soooooo, i tried everything you guys suggested even tried using Firefox but the same thing happens even after i close the browser data keeps getting downloaded Checked for Malware, Uninstalled Flash Player….
Update: I checked Resource Monitor and it looks like something is wrong with svchost.exe when i terminated it, it fixed the issue. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
