Send message to whatsapp number

The only way would be to install a virtual android machine on your PC and load whatsapp on it. But you still need a number to create a new account.
So as far as I know there is not a really free service or way.
€dit: there are too online emulators, but they need a number too
I don’t think there’s one but I’d like to know too if there is. I personally use Android emulator like bluestacks and/or Youwave for it. Bluestacks is free but seems to use more computer resource. Youwave is a paid software, should be available in Apps section. Installing whatsapp on Bluestacks is easier. For Youwave latest version is needed I think.
