Rapidshare banned?

Alright, so, I can get in to my account via proxy, but I can’t connect to ~ Dead file host ~ normally.
Am I IP banned, and if so, why don’t they ban the account?
If not, what’s going on?

i dot think your banned. What happens if you try to get in normally? What errors come up?

The standard network time out error.

probably a standard RS issue. If you were banned you would have been notified already probably by email

Hm… Well, I didn’t get an email, but like I said, I can get in through a proxy, so I don’t think it’s RapidShare.

sometimes RS has server issues with different locations, the proxy could be US based but your location si somewhere else

Send an email to RS support and see what they say. You will most probably get a reply in 3-4 days max.

No, both the proxy and I are U.S. Maybe it’s just California. Or maybe it’s my ISP. Either way, no Fallout for me tonight. *sigh*

When this happens to me I need to add .ssl to the link…like say http://~ Dead file host ~/files/158194427/syn-jb007qs.part1.rar
becomes http://ssl.~ Dead file host ~/files/158194427/syn-jb007qs.part1.rar

well it happened to me 3 days ago
i couldnt connect that day normally
i could via proxy
next day it was normal
if it doesnt change
maybe your ISP banned RS

sometimes a internet provider is the issue i had the same problem for this website after a call to my provider the recieved more complains about it gave me a new IP or something like that and now its cool thats just my experience could be something els ofcource
