psp power button problem

i need help the switch on my psp is totally broken and so is the part where the charger goes so i need to know if there is a way to power up the psp with out the power on switch please help by the way this is my friends psp its a fat and i have no idea how he messed it up so bad but i want to mod it because im bored and there is no way im taking apart my psp thats my baby lol any input would be appreciated thanx

you tried opening up the psp and seeing where the power switch is and pushing up (sorry dont own a phat only a slim) on the broken switch ?

not much you can do but replace the parts, its not as easy and it but doable.
