PSP iso trouble

Hello , a few days ago i downloaded GTA Vice City stories, i have the latest firmwire mm3 5.00 , and the hacked battery i use ultra iso to make it into an iso i put it on memory card and done its working played for a while and now i when i go to play it , it wont work it will do the psp sign and just goes blank Any helps .. There is a recovery Mode…Not sure…But I think you switch the PSP on at the same time holding the 2 R buttons…That will bring out the recovery mode…But as I said..I can’t remember the combination…Maybe someone will come to the rescue…

Yeah, you hold R while turning on your PSP to enter the recovery menu. Is there an error message, or does the screen just go blank? Did you put the ISO file in the ISO folder on the root of your memory stick? It’s a common mistake to put ISO’s in the GAME folder.
Anyway, try the following and see if it works:
In the recovery menu, go into ‘Configuration’, and go down to ‘UMD mode’. Make sure it’s set to ‘Sony NP9660’.
That’s all I can suggest for now really.

Well when i go in memory stick the skin and music play and no there is no error message ill try holding R Now

Well then the problem lies with your Vice City Stories ISO. Download a different one, and you should be fine.

i dont think so mate because it was working yesterday and when i go into it the music and background pops up

Well, there’s nothing else I can suggest really. If the rest of your iso’s are ok, you’d be best off getting a new version of VCS.

So any help people ,?did you try formatting your memory stick, i had a similar problem and all i had to do was reformat it and copy everything back on (back it up to your pc first the stuff you want to keep).

sometimes converting the iso to a cso works too (dunno why)

You can’t play GTA games as CSO’s though. It may solve the loading problem, but once you start playing, the game will be extremely laggy, because CSO’s have to decompress while you’re playing the game.

Scroll down to UMD and put M33 Driver then play the game with no problem.

i use to play liberty cities cso all the time at 333/166 it ran fine just dont overload with hacks then it will crash

Oh. Well the version I had was unplayabley laggy. Might not be the case for all versions. Either way, large CSO’s do have to decompress at some stages during play.XDXDXD
