Problem with HD movies

August 7th, 2016

OK, here’s the thing, I’ve downloaded some of the High-Definition Movies like this one :
Release Name: Extreme.Movie.STV.BluRay.720p.x264-REVEiLLE
Video: x264 @ 6781 Kbps – 1280720 (WxH) – AR: 16:9, FPS: 23.976
Audio: DTS @ 1536 Kbps (Constant) – 6 channels
Size: 4.37GB, 1DVD
Runtime: 75 mins
Filename: rev-extrememovie
, and when I play the movie most of the time sound is late. Now I have ATI Radeon X1600 128MB, 2GB of RAM and 1.6GHz processor, play the movies in The KMPlayer and have K-Lite codec pack installed, any suggestions how to fix this problem, should I use a different player or install some special codec for these kind of movies, or my PC is just not “strong” enough to play the movies?

Try it on a new media player. If that don’t work then we know ths sound on the video is out of sync. In this case try to find out by how much milliseconds it is late and download the YAAI tool
Download here: http://www.64k.it/andres/data/y/YAAI_2.0.3.488.zip
And follow these steps below:
Step 1. Unzip YAAI_2.0.3.488.zip file. Launch YAAI.exe , “open avi” dialog will appear. Step 2. Find and open your AVI file. Step 3. Click on “Sync Audio” tab. Small video player will pop up. Step 4. Now, adjust audio delay or frame rate (FPS) using sliders or appropriate buttons. Click Apply. Video player will start playing your file with changed settings automatically. You can adjust and apply these parameters several times to pick up necessary values for audio delay or FPS. So, try to experiment and to set appropriate audio delay or to change FPS (frames per second) settings for your avi file. Step 5. Finally, close YAAI tool. When it asks the question: “Do you want to keep the changes?”, click Yes.

Unless it’s multicore, it most likely won’t be able to handle smooth playback.
My single-core 2GHz Sempron handled 720p playback pretty roughly, but if you have 2 or more cores you are fine.
I use VLC for all of my movie playback, never had a problem.

Well I’ve tried everything you people sad, and it’s most probably about the processor. And also for the firs movie I’ve made a mistake, it’s not the sound that’s late, it’s the video, and when I play the movie, the video is kinda slow.
but I’ve also downloaded this movie, and there’s no problem with it :
Knowing.720p.BluRay.DTS.H264-HUBRIS (2009)
Audio: English 6CH DTS
Video: 1280×544 H264
Runtime: 02:01:29
Filetype: mkv
Filesize: 7.042.042.279 bytes

yep, gamedude is right, ur computer is the problem. It isn’t good enough to play HD vids.
For the movie above, maybe that one works because its isn’t 720p.

My 1.6ghz is the same – so the graphics card won’t matter too much as the processor is the weak link.
Sorry.

well dude… it all depends on the movie… if there are very high special effects/constant motion/fast color changes then you will get such problems…..
just for the kick try Dark Knight 1080p x264 rip and see the ~love~ lag……
