Burning movies to disc problem [Solved]

August 6th, 2016

I have run into a bit of a problem when trying to burn movies to disc… The problem is that at some point in the movie I will loose audio and get a message on the screen saying something about this movie is not authorized to play on this device and audio is temporary muted. This has happened with 2 different movies so far (The Last Witch Hunter & Gods of Egypt) and 2 different Blu-ray players.
I use Convert X to HD, at first I was using a copy of the program from a link on here and later purchased the program from the VSO website. Using a Samsung external USB Blu-ray burner and burning movies at 2x speed. The movies play just fine on the PC with no loss of audio (movies where downloaded from links on here as well).
I am at a loss of what to try next..

Do the converted VSO files play on your PC ok? Sounds like the program/VSO are interfering during the conversion process. Do you disconnect from the internet during conversion?

New the prob, but couldnt remember the name of it.. But some one just bumped a post about it. Cinavia is what its called, I know little about it, but there is a couple of posts worth reading in the link..

As you will see, there is plenty about Cinavia on the help desk.
The hardware/firmware in your Blu-ray detects it whereas you PC player does not have it.
It has been compulsory since 2011 to have it in BR and DVD stand alone players and even some retail PC players.

Ouch yeah I just did some reading about Cinavia after checking my topic. Thanks for the help, the info was really interesting as I’d never heard of that before
