these topics always turn into preferences and frankly are pointless, find whats right for you, do your homework.
for some, avg is enough, malware bytes is always good.
basically anything but norton and u should be fine

I would recommend getting the full version of Norton 360, or avast 5. These have caught many hackers before. I used to be in security and getting rid of spyware, and trojans that were keyloggers or RATs (Remote Access Tools). If you believe you might be infected, I can possibly help you out via Teamviewer 5.

I wasnt going to mention this option because I always assume that most people on this site to know by experience what is best for them. If you have family members in mind or just want an alternative to set it and forget it, I suggest a program, uncommon to introduction, called VIPER ANTIVIRUS…it has all the protection and is based on years of development in a way that gives complete unintrusive protection, and does not demand much action of the user at all. VIPER antivirus has a multi user license agreement for home users also.
