Photoshop: Distorted letters

Hello guys
I want to give to my girlfriend a present for christmas, a poem made by me, with a photo of us together, to put it like a photo in an album.
I’ve done the stuff, written the poem over the photo, but, it is impossible to read it when i print it. The letters are all distorted and it is impossible to read! Can someone help me to put the letters viewable, in photoshop?

Make your starting Document A4 format…and if that doesnt work, open your image *as high resolution as possible* in word, and print it from there

are the letters distorted or did they blend to the image
if distorted try making them larger then shrink them to fit or turn on/of AA, bold, sharp or whatever
if blending then outline them in a contrasting color with the layer options of the text layer
or
import/drag image into word as the page background then create text boxes to add text
pshop converts text to image format where word duz not
post a sample of your problem if you can

Maybe save the PS document as a PDF file and open it in Adobe Reader. Then print through it and see if anything changes. Good luck mate ^_^

yeah make sure ur page is right size. Make it really high quality aswell, especially when you save it
