PC Issues, once again!
August 28th, 2013
My PC wont turn On, i press the Power button, it starts up but my monitor says “No Video Signal”
While the PC starts there are no beeps or w.e
Now, i’ve tried changing the monitors, ive tried my RAM Standalone (RAM in different slot), turning the PC with no HDD, still the same thing happened.
But, i haven’t however tried PSU Swapping yet, i don’t have a PSU, if thats the case i can go at the town and get a PSU.
Oh, and another thing that happens:
Just when i sit at my shitty PC the piece of crap decides to act like a ~censored~ and keps on restarting as much times and he wants.
It sometimes restarts before the XP Boot Screen shows up, it also restarts before the desktop shows up, it even restarts while doing nothing.
This thing has been happening to me like forever but, i didnt take it seriously till now.
My Graphic Card is Onboard, if that makes any difference, ive also tried CMOS Resetting.
What do you guys think?
Thanks
Remove RAM, clean it’s metal contacts with a pensil eraser rubber, make sure there are no rubbings left behind, put it back in. Sometimes dirty pins of RAM can cause imperfect connections between pins and terminals in the computer mainboard, making computers to work slowly, often hangs, or even die out totally.
tried different ram slots ?
how about a different GPU ?
By saying ive tried RAM Standalone i meant ive tried different slots, same thing happened.
My GPU is onboard.
Remove all RAM sticks and power up,No beeps = Dead Motherboard.

Hey, well the Motherboard is new, bought if a few months ago.. but however ill give that a try after a while and keep you updated, thank you.
Okay, i removed all the RAM sticks and powered it up, there was beeps..
Ive also re-applied thermal paste, ive removed RAM stick and clean RAM and its stick with an eraser. ive removed the HDD and turned on the PC with no HDD, same thing…
Whats left is for me to buy a new PSU since no one cares to borrow it to me..
Reset your CMOS yet?

Aint got that either, gotta buy that too, if that might be the case.. damn
Check the power cables & connecting cable, they sometime give out, easy to find in any local electronic cables shop & cheap to replace. Is your PSU fan rotating when you switch it on, it’s mostly a PSU problem you have.
And that RAM cleaning tip, you only have to concentrate on the RAM metal contacts (both sides) with your eraser. For cleaning the rest of the RAM, chip pins, you use a Q tip & rubbing alcohol (70%-90% isopropyl alcohol).
I’d say it’s more likely to be the PSU than the GPU,Don’t you have another PC to swap it from for testing?
