There are 2 physical dies on this card.
You might have a hard time finding coolers.
What is your power supply?

Hm, did you monitor the temperature or are you assuming its overheating?
Did you connect the 6 pin cables to the video card?
Answer #4
Download RivaTuner and turn your fan to 100% and check the temperatures.
Try also cleaning the fan from dust.
Answer #5
Doesn’t sound like overheating. Normally you’ll start seeing
weird colors/lines on the screen if that was the case. Seems
it’s just losing power,You probably didn’t connect
the 2 6PIN cables to the card itself.
Answer #6
Yep everything is plugged correctly otherwise the card doesnt start and having Red led turn on , and yes i downloaded evga precision and put the fan at 100% and i even put both cores at lower as possible and put both card work separetly i’ll try clean the fan as soon as im having an air bottle in case that doesnt work do you guys have any other sugestion? no cooling for this vga or w/e?? Thanks for help

Maybe your PSU is defective.

not sure i think its due to overheat cuz when i play l4d2 for exemple after 20mins my gpu runs under 122degrees
Answer #9
Just to make sure ,That’s 122 Celsius right?
Answer #10
Yep exactly
Answer #11
Then i’d say you have a point,Is the card still under warranty? If so
better use it.

yep its a life time warranty (written behind the box) how do i change it?
nvm seems like i had 30days to register and its been 2years im having this card.. this is stupid but anyway thanks
Answer #13
Borrow another friends video card and test, could be a dud card.
Answer #14
Well, if you know what you are doing, then i would suggest taking the gfx out, cleaning it from dust etc. If you don’t mind, try unscrewing the fan, and look if the thermal paste is dry or whatever. Apply new if needed.

i removed the top plastic + cleaning with air duster . changed side that fans blows (one half is blowing the hot air outside the other side blowing cold air inside) and put fans at 100 with evga precision and now im running at 70Celcius when playing 90 at top. Seems like my problem is solved. Thanks for all your help guys
Answer #16
To confirm it is heat issue why not remove the case sides and blow a large fan into it while playing. If it is overheating then it should be ‘cured’. Of course you could log the temps to see if it is failing for that reason as well.
Answer #17
im almost certain that it is not overheating
i think its cable problem
Answer #18
Did you put a fresh layer of thermal paste?
It helps to increase cooling.

if that case isnt good enough then i might kill my self ;P ;

but yea.. it was really an overheat problem the card stoped working 5-6months ago and i had to change it! now im running an 560 Gtx Ti and no more overheat problem but i got an other probleme since then -.-.. PSU is starting to “crash” and doesn’t give enough power so the nVidia driver stop working =/

come to ATI cards less cooler problem solved;-p
