What do you mean by locked?
that way that i can sell the phone. i bought it from someone but its for sprint and supposedly you cannot unlock it to use with other carriers such as att and also that if they owe even 1 cent on a bill i cannot activate it. figured maybe someone knew a way around that
bollocks not only is it possible, the US also not too long ago adopted a law that FORCED cariers to unlock the device if the customer wants it so. However from what i read, most add a restriction that either A) the phone must be fully paid for or B) pay the contract remaining amount to unlock it.
For a carrier lock, it’s full of solutions. You need to use paid services that you can find online. You give them info and they will unlock the carrier block for a fee. Doing it for free, requires elements that may not be favorable to the common user…
