Need help choosing GFX card

ok so Im caught in 2 minds whether to buy another 970 and SLI and wait 6 months to upgrade to a 1080ti or just purchase a 1080 now and sell the 970.
thoughts?

You ask the same questions just worded differently and when people give you advice, you ignore it because you know better. As in the thread I posted above, there is relevant info in that thread regarding the question you have asked here. Maybe you just didn’t read it? I thought you had a bottomless pocket, driving that cab and all, and you bought 2 1080’s

that was before the price release. Maybe purchase a 1080 now with the intention of adding another at a later date or just add another 970 and prolong the life of my existing card until a decent 4k card comes out worthy of £600.
