Need bluray player and ripper help

January 26th, 2020

Does anyone know any programs for playing and ripping bluray and dvd’s. What I need exactly is a program that can play dvd’s and bluray movies but on the main monitor you can cut out all the commercials and the beginning and on the second monitor or tv/projector it will play the movie and it wont show the same thing on both monitors for example one monitor will show the program opened and the second will just play the movie as you set it up on the first. The program my friend has lets you edit the dvd on the first monitor while the second just has a black screen until you click play on the first monitor after you click play the movie plyas on the senond monitor and on the first the program is still opened with the pause buton and all the others on the second there are no buttons at all stoping the movie requires you to use only the first monitor the mouse doesn’t even show on the second and yes his set up is to extend the display not clone. The program my friend is using is called dvdjukebox but I can’t fined it anywhere online its been working on windows xp and it doesn’t seam to work on windows 7 its about 10 years old and the only way I have a copy is because the person who installed it on the pc has left the program itself in case of instillation and the keygen on the pc. We can’t get in touch with the person that’s why he asked me and my search through google hasn’t brought up anything. Honest answer he doesn’t even care about ripping it he just wants the movie to play on the second monitor while editing out all the other things on the main monitor and yes he plays a lot of dvd’s but now he has bluray’s too and this software doesn’t support them. If you need to see the program just tell me and I will post a link to download it and the keygen too any help would be apreciated. Thank you in advanced

Can’t be any help, but just to help clear up, there isn’t any commercials on bluray or dvds.
Can you clear that part for anyone who can help please.
To rip dvd I use dvdfab, but that’s not going to do what you’re wanting.
I’m not understanding the need to edit either a bluray or a dvd though.
dvdfab can just rip main movie, so you don’t get menus.

what I mean is there are some commercials on them before the dvd actually starts he wants to remove all the commercials and select chapter or credits or menu button from the beginning and skip right to the movie when I say the commercials I mean all the stuff that play up till you get to the menu on the disc and it lets you click play or chose chapter evn the fbi warning and stuff at the beginning he removes he doesn’t care if he does that through the program or if the program does it on its own. He doesn’t rip the movies or actually keep edited versions but the program allows ripping but it lets you run the program on one monitor and the second monitor has a black screen up till you click play on the first after that the movie plays only on the second with out any buttons to stop or pause or fast forward or rewind on the second all that is only on the first monitor. I hope that cleared up some stuff. sorry if you got confused.

Ok you mean those annoying previews of other movies they put on them.
I’m still not understanding why the 2 monitors though.
I can understand what you’re saying they want to do.
I just can’t understand WHY they want to do it that way.
dvdfab will just copy main movie if you like, as I mentioned above.
It then burns it to another dvd and there you have nothing but movie.
No need for editing.
There are other programs that do the same thing, but I’ve only ever used dvdfab.

He plays the movie on his tv or projector or whatever he has that’s why he does 2 monitors he doesn’t like to watch on his 18 inch monitor.

You can put file onto USB and watch from TV, if TV capable that is.
Best would be to get a media player, they play VOB files, mine does at least.
Doing it the way he wants seems so awkward to me.
At the very least they could burn dvd and play on standalone player.
There are also ways to stream PC to TV, but someone would need to tell about that, as I don’t know.

I’ll recommend these ideas to him but he’s very picky and he doesn’t like to change what he does already. But thank you for the advice all look in to what you said and tell him. If you or anyone think of anything that might be remotely related what he already has please. I appreciate the help and the quick response thank you very much.

Depending on the TV (Model? Is it a smart tv?) You can install plex media server (most popular these days) which is free and works via web browser over your network, wifi if its strong or ethernet (both local, sign in for an online account if you want one for extra options) Connect to the Plex Server with Smart TV (WebOS/Android based) Or Android tablet.
If you have an XboX and Windows 7 or 8/8.1 (10 doesnt have it without a hack) Windows Media Centre can interact between PC and XboX quite nicely which is another soloution to streaming media from PC. DVD/Blueray players are overated these days IMO
New smart TV’s are awesome. I just bought a 60inch LG 4K smart TV for my sons room and its flawless when communicating with PC. Best part about smart tv’s is that they basically play any file avi, mp4, mpeg, mkv etc so conversion isn’t necessary.
