NBA 2K9 black screen problem

Dear reader,
I am having problems with the recently released game NBA 2K9.
When I start the game I just get a black screen, I do hear the sounds and sometimes I see some buttons.
When I move with my mouse over buttons I hear sounds.
Specs:
System type: 32 bit
Memory (RAM): 1 GB
Proccessor: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+ 2.01 GHz
Windows Vista Service Pack 1
Is there anyone with the same problem or knows how to fix this?

I have the same problem on a HIS Ati Radeon x1050 video card.
I’ll try to update the drivers.

Video card: ATI x1300
processor: 2.8 Ghz

So if I have x1050 I can only see a few buttons?
I thought that I could just play on lower detail if I any lower..

hehe. I don’t believe in those requirements.
My video card has the same frequencies as x1300, 256 MB DDR2, 128 bits, Pixel Shader 2.0.
I doubt x1300 has PS 3.

ATI x1300 is the Minimum you can use…that means is not the recommended but you will be able to sort of run the game…

I should be able to run the game aswel, maybe slow and with low fps but I still should be able to..

, a lot of people with good configurations are experiencing this problem.
Might be solved in a future patch , or it might be a crack error as well.

i’d recommend just buying a better video card.
the x1300 is 20 bux.
and the dx10 cards are less than 99 bux
buy a new video card, you can play the game w/ better graphics + other games equivalent
EDIT: it’s a burden playing pc games year after year. have to constantly upgrade. if your not a fan of it, buy console

Oke it is proven not to be the video card couse people with very good video cards / good pcs have the same problem.
On there are atleast 20 people more that complained about this problem.
We need a fix!

maybe our pc cant handle this game… i heard that PC with AMD has problems with this game
i thought since my pc can run crysis that i can run this game…but i guess i was wrong

i’m pretty sure that the rips out are the problem. let’s hope a patch eventually fixes the issues.
