well so sorry for not being able to help
NP atleast some1 cared
hahaha! i always care mate cause that the thing that makes the world go round!!!
Big question is what’s the cause of the corruption ? I’ve got games that have been archived for over ten years and are still good?
i bet you’ve installed the game from the iso, then copied all the game files to the disk haven’t you? thinking that way you won’t have to reinstall it again?
If not, then posting the actual error messages you’re getting would be more helpful.
Here after try to burn at 8X Speed!!!
I always write my games and stuffs at 8X…
I still have NFS 2… That CD was burned at 2004
8X speed is safe
also dont let your CD in sun… UV Rays will destroy your datas!
Make sure next time you should burn the SETUP files
Causes for corruption might be,
Low quality CD/DVDs ( so try changing the brand)
Direct exposure to extreme heat conditions or sunlight
Scratch marks on storage media due to bad storage conditions
Dust or spots on storage media ( Cleaning helps sometimes)
And whats the error exactly ?

here i think some of the files are damage but the cd is properly cared and put in disk wallet
same thing occurs in instalation
Look’s like when your making your backup’s some of the file’s are not accurately being burned to your storage media .There can be a ton of reason’s this is happening.Bad media, bad burner, bad burn software, list is endless
Best advice I can give is to test install after making your backup,if all go’s well then store properly.Never flat or on a spindle
Luck my friend CRC Error
There are plenty of technical resources on the Web that discuss cyclic redundancy checks (CRCs). Most times you won't need to worry about this technobabble. That is, until one it day it suddenly appears and you think - what the hell does that mean? In simple terms, a CRC is bit of mathematics used to ensure that your data is OK when being transfered. It's a checking procedure that quickly identifies when data has been damaged. If you get this message, it means that the file being read by your PC or software is corrupted. However, it does not mean all the data is lost forever. When data is transfered, it is usually in small blocks and each block is given a CRC value. If something goes wrong with the data between the time it leaves the source and arrives at its destination, the CRC sent at the source will no longer match the one that is calculated when the data arrives - this is when the cyclic redundancy check error will appear.
have you tried that on another pc?
might just be a problem on ‘your’ pc atm
